Method of payment 

Payment is only possible with the following credit cards: VISA or Mastercard 

Delivery time 

The delivery time in Norway is 2 to 5 workdays. 

Postage and packing 

There is no charge for postage and packing to addresses in Norway. There is a 150 NOK (about 18 euro) charge for postage and packing for deliveries abroad. 

Sales tax 

There is no sales tax on most books in Norway. Exceptions are books of tables and books that include a CD-ROM, DVD or VHS where the book is only a minor part of the total product. Where sales tax is charged, the price on the website includes sales tax. Customers who are residents of Svalbard are exempt from sales tax and can ring our orders office when purchasing goods with sales tax (tel. 73 59 84 22). 

Sale of Goods Act and Consumer Purchases Cancellation Act 

All purchases are subject to the Sale of Goods Act and the Consumer Purchases Cancellation Act. This means that if the goods are damaged or defect, you must contact us on tel. +47 73 59 84 22 or bestilling.forlag@tapir.no. If you wish to cancel the order within 14 days of purchase, you can return the goods. All such customers have to pay the return postage. 

Cookies 

Tapir Academic Press does not use cookies that are stored on your computer. We use something called 'session cookies'. A 'session cookie' is a text-line that is stored temporarily on the RAM of your computer. As it is not stored on your hard disk, it is removed when you close the browser. These session cookies are timed out after 60 minutes. This means that if you log on to www.butikk.tapirforlag.no and have the browser on www.butikk.tapirforlag.no for 60 minutes without doing anything, you are automatically logged off.
